Hurricane Dean

By now I bet you have heard about Hurricane Dean.
This storm has destroyed Southern Haiti and parts of Jamaica, including Kingston,the nations capital. CNN News reports that Dean is headed towards the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Tourists are currently in airports, trying to get a flight. Airlines are sending extra planes to Cancun and Cozumel. Locals are boarding up their shops and homes and also fleeing. As a CNN reporter stated this morning "there is about 10 ft of beach left. soon the water will be flowing into parking lots and flooding the many oceanside resorts in the Cancun Area. It will be so much worse if the storm comes this way." Winds may grow to 165 mph. If you are reading this blog in the United States,there is not much we can do except cross our fingers and pray. Pray for safeness in the Yucutan and rebulding in Haiti and Jamaica. Amen.
